The safe also provides a stated water-protection rating of two feet for up to seven days. These ratings provide important information when comparing gun safes, although actual protection depends on the conditions of an incident and the manufacturer’s applicable testing and warranty terms.

Secure Electronic Lock and Heavy-Duty Construction

This Remington gun safe features a SecuRam™ UL-rated backlit electronic lock paired with a five-spoke handle. The lock’s illuminated keypad supports convenient operation in low-light conditions, while the safe’s bolt system and force-activated relocker provide additional security features.

The exterior features a Seltzer Gray Gloss Metallic Powder Coat finish, complemented by black chrome hardware and carbon fiber accents. Bolt-limiting pins help protect the exterior finish from cosmetic damage caused by bolt contact.

With 23.48 cubic feet of internal volume, the Nitro Series 46-gun safe offers substantial room for firearm storage and organization. Its adjustable carpeted shelves and barrel rests feature stitched vinyl trim, while the quilted vinyl sidewalls and upholstered interior door panel add a refined finish.
